Production Team Name and Logo

The Name - Volcanic Productions

The name we chose for the production team is 'Volcanic Productions'. We chose this because we wanted a real word (unlike last year's JARLINC) which also represents our group's values. The group is the same as the one we had in the Litter Documentary: Deanna H; Daniel S; Charlotte S and me, Cameron H.
We chose volcanic because it represents us as a media group. We believe this because we want to make a big impact, which is a lot like what we want to do with our film. Also, it means that if something goes wrong in the process, such as a dormant or extinct volcano (symbolising a setback in the production of our film), then the big impact won't be very much of a big impact altogether.

This is like our production team, because we take out film to make the film, paying attention to every little aspect of the process, before finalising it. Like the process of a volcano, if something goes wrong, it affects us massively and puts us behind. If one or more members of the production team are slacking and not working so hard, like a volcano being dormant, it can prevent the big impact of the film. In turn, if somebody doesn't turn up at all, like a volcano being extinct, then that also affects the group and the main product's effectiveness, or make more work for other members of the team.
The last aspect of the volcanic process relates to the finished product. In a volcano, the eruption at the end of the cycle will be a massive impact, a lot like our finished film product, which all our team members want - a huge impact and a successful product.

The Logo

We wanted the logo to depict a volcano's crater erupting and spewing our lava. This shows the 'big impact' of the film, and why we are called Volcanic Productions. We want our production team's name to be written on the side of the volcano in the lava that's emerged from the fire of the crater. Below is a drawn example:
