Editing Day 4

Today was a editing session primarily for sound effects and soundtracks. But, as well as this, we got Rebecca in to school to record voice over her parts, as they were too quiet at times. We put these straight into the timeline and edited them in with the rest of the sounds.

Dan had the computer alone for a while, in which time he went through all the films and made sure all the sounds were right and at the correct volume level. Me and Dan also had to record some simple foley sounds for the film to replace some old ones.

I believe the editing session went well and we had minimal issues, the largest being time, and the constant rendering lost us a lot of time. The software is easier to use than last year's software and we feel it was a faster process, especially now exporting sound from SoundTrack Pro wasn't needed anymore.
